Castellon Down Sindrome

On Saturday 9^th November 2024, it has been celebrated the Castellón 2024 Down Syndrome Solidarity Tournament. 

The Tournament, organized by the Sindrome de Down Castellon Asociation,  has been a complete success and has achieved the objective of raising funds for the development of the  Empleo con Apoyo (Employment with Support Program) to promote the labor inclusion of people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities in our community. 
50 athletes have participated in the tournament that has had the collaboration of more than 30 companies to raise funds for the development of training and career guidance actions that improve labor inclusion for around 60 people with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities who are in the process of actively searching for employment.

Furthermore, this year, the organizers wanted to join the great solidarity response to the people affected by the floods in Valencia, and have allocated the registration fees to the Plena Inclusion Comunidad Valenciana that will manage the aid to recover the people's centers with disabilities affected by DANA floods.
