A legacy for the future
Our Forest
Two years ago for Christmas, we decided to make a special gift to our employees to become part of a reforestation and biodiversity project.
With the support of Treedom we have planted 1.000 trees in Colombia.
Every new tree on the planet is a "smart" source of CO2 reduction. With this project we intend to abate 590,000kg of CO2 emissions over a period of ten years.
Today our employees are following the stories of their trees.
A story that will go on!
The land on which we are planting our trees had been used for coca plantations and over time had been saturated with chemicals. Trees are the best answer to rebalance the soil, make it vital again and reduce erosion.
With this project we are supporting an education process that involves the young farmers who work in the nurseries and in the community and their families. They learn seedling and grafting and will enjoy the practical results of their care. doing something positive in their community!
Involving the whole community in this education process means that the knowledge we have brought to the project will be passed on from generation to generation.
The "next generation" will continue the legacy and that will make the real difference.
