Driving Sustainable Innovation in Chemistry
Lamberti is pleased to announce the release of our 5th Sustainability Report, underscoring our commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability through our mission, “Designing New Values in Chemistry.”
This report details our ongoing efforts to set and achieve ambitious targets, consistently tracking key performance indicators to drive improvements in our product offerings. Our proactive collaboration with suppliers to assess supply chain impacts and our newly launched carbon footprint assessment project covering most of our products, reflect our dedication to making a meaningful impact on the planet, people, and our market position.
"We are committed to leading change by drastically reducing our reliance on non-renewable raw materials. Through strategic investments in low-impact, upcycled, and recyclable materials, we are designing a new generation of products that align with our world’s evolving needs. Our vision is clear: to create products that embody both beauty and sustainability, paving the way for a better future."
Lamberti’s 2023 Sustainability Report highlights significant milestones in integrating sustainability into core processes, including product development and sourcing, as part of our commitment to responsible innovation. Our “Smart Manufacturing” project, which utilizes digital technology to optimize energy and resource efficiency, is a critical step in achieving our environmental goals.
Our environmental strategy features a comprehensive approach to energy efficiency and carbon reduction. In 2023, we upgraded equipment, enhanced energy efficiency at key sites, expanded ISO certifications, and established ambitious decarbonization targets. Initiatives in waste management, emissions tracking, and energy diversification reflect our commitment to reducing environmental impact.
Investments in R&D further strengthen our sustainability approach, focusing on reducing fossil raw materials and aligning new products with the EU Chemical Strategy. These efforts have led to increased patent-driven sales and a greater share of revenue from innovative products, reinforcing Lamberti’s role as a leader in responsible science, product transparency, and rigorous compliance for a safer, more sustainable chemistry industry.
"Nurturing a culture of responsibility and growth, empowering employees to drive sustainability and innovation."
