Hystory
Microbeads AS was established in 2002 as an independent company with exclusive rights to the Ungelstad Technology for the production and use of monosized beads in industrial applications.
The technology was developed and patented by professor John Ugelstad and his co-workers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1977.
In 2020, Microbeads AS was acquired by Lamberti to complete its platform of Polymer Beads and to become a worlwide leader in this technology.
Our facilities
Our headquarter and production facilities are located in Skedsmokorset, in the Oslo region, Norway.
The large-scale production of superior quality polymer beads is combined with efficient logistics solutions, to ensure fast and safe supply to end users.
We have a flexible and innovative organization that works closely with customers to optimize and develop products for various applications.
Our R&D labs work in close synergy with the Lamberti Technical Centre in Albizzate, Italy, to ensure the best solutions to our customers' needs.
