In the ever-evolving landscape of rural empowerment, the year 2024 marks a significant milestone as People's Awareness Network Society (PANS) embarks on the journey of WE Dare 2.0.

Building upon the success of its predecessors, SHE Dares and WE Dare, this initiative promises to further revolutionize the lives of women and farmers of Ramsar Palawala, a rural village in Rajasthan.

SHE Dares, initiated in 2021, set the stage by offering vocational training to women from farmer communities, empowering them with essential skills and connecting them to market opportunities. Over the course of two years, a hundred women underwent training, laying a foundation for economic independence and growth.

In 2023, the project evolved into WE Dare, with a focus on uplifting not just women but also farmers from SHE Dares families. Ten farmers, blessed with a bumper produce of guar crop, found renewed hope and determination to revitalize their farming endeavors. With the unwavering support of Lamberti, these farmers received the sponsorship they needed to reignite their agricultural pursuits, bolstered by the involvement of their skilled women artisans.

In 2024, PANS launches WE Dare 2.0 with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. The response from farmers across the village has been overwhelming, indicative of the program's impact and relevance. This year, the initiative aims to select twenty new farmers to join the ranks, while continuing to support ten existing farmers with input costs.

The inaugural meeting saw twenty-seven eager farmers applying for participation, highlighting the palpable eagerness and anticipation within the community. As a testament to the growing interest, another meeting has been scheduled for April 27, 2024, with an expected attendance of forty additional farmers.

With such a surge in interest, the task of selecting beneficiaries poses a formidable challenge for the PANS team. However, amidst the influx of applicants, the commitment remains unwavering - to prioritize and support the most marginalized farmers, ensuring equitable access to opportunities and resources.

As WE Dare 2.0 unfolds, it embodies the spirit of resilience, collaboration, and empowerment, propelling rural communities towards a brighter and more sustainable future. Through collective efforts and unwavering dedication, PANS and its partners continue to redefine possibilities and ignite positive change, one farmer, one woman at a time.
